We learn your environment, align technology to the business, and stay with you until the solution actually works.Expect senior people, straight answers, and a team that treats your network like it matters. Deep technical bench. Local, personal follow-through. Value from every corner of your IT environment.
Experienced professionals dedicated to your success.
Proven results that speak for themselves.

Technology that strengthens our communities.
Modern technology. Timeless values.
"Code of West" Applies to business and personal integrity and lists ten principles, including live each day with courage, take pride in your work, finish what you start, keep your promises, and ride for the brand.
At 954 Consultants, we believe strong communities depend on people who show up, do good work, and stand behind their word. We bring that same commitment to technology—helping schools, businesses, and public agencies connect people, protect what matters, and prepare for what comes next.
The principles in James P. Owen’s Cowboy Ethics reflect the way we believe business should be done.
“Take pride in your work.”
For us, that means understanding the people who depend on every solution. A classroom needs reliable Wi-Fi so students can learn. A public safety team needs dependable communications to serve its community. A business needs systems that help its people get things done. We plan, install, and support technology with those everyday needs in mind.
Connecting the next generation to opportunity.
We help schools create connected classrooms with Chromebooks, interactive displays, and the networks behind them. By supporting educators and their IT teams, we help give teachers more room to teach and students more opportunities to explore, create, and grow.
Protecting people, places, and information.
Our responsibility extends beyond connectivity. Cameras, environmental sensors, and door access control help customers protect their facilities. Cybersecurity, backup, and recovery solutions help safeguard their information and keep essential services available. We bring these pieces together around each customer’s needs.
“When you make a promise, keep it.”
Trust grows through actions. We listen carefully, offer straightforward advice, and recommend solutions that fit your goals and budget. You deserve clear expectations, honest conversations, and people who take responsibility for their work.
“Always finish what you start.”
Our commitment continues through implementation, testing, training, and ongoing support. As your organization changes, we help you adapt—building a relationship that lasts beyond the installation.
954 Consultants. Connecting people. Protecting what matters. Building stronger communities.

Leonard Lane — President & CEO
954 ConsultantsLeonard grew up in a small Colorado town, where the mountains are close, the roads get interesting, and you learn to handle whatever the day throws at you. That spirit never left. He’s a hobbyist at heart—always chasing the next skill, the next trail, the next challenge.
Give him a winding road and a sports car and he’s hunting apexes. Give him a Jeep and he’s looking for the trail that looks like a bad idea until it becomes a great story. Off-road is his reset and his rush: switchbacks, rock gardens, ridgelines, airing down the tires and picking a line that demands patience and nerve. The Jeep isn’t a weekend prop. It’s how he gets into the country that still feels wild.
He’s also an avid golfer—early tee times, honest scorecards, the quiet competition of beating yesterday’s round. And he’s working toward something bigger in the sky: striving to become a pilot and earn his full license. Same theme as the rest of his life. Learn the systems. Respect the power. Take off.
That appetite shows up at work. He’s been leading IT since he was 18. Education first, then the private sector, more than 31 years in the driver’s seat. A CCIE for 20+ years, he built and ran Cloud Services and the Network Operations Center for ISC and Venture. After Venture sold to ConvergeOne, he took Cloud Calling Services and kept it running at full throttle.
As President and CEO of 954 Consultants, Leonard sets the strategy for enterprise and SMB technology. He helps customers move faster, clear the obstacles, and pull real value out of every corner of their IT environment. Whether it’s a technical climb, a hard trail, or a long approach shot, he likes the challenge—and he likes winning it.
Small-town grit. Jeep trails. Golf on the ground. A runway in his future.

Entrepreneur. Technology Executive. Champion. Built on Character.
Win Farnsworth has built his career and life around a simple set of principles learned growing up in Wyoming: be authentic, have courage, work hard, keep your word, and take responsibility for the outcome.
Those values have followed him from the wrestling mat, to the boardroom, to some of the fastest and most demanding offshore race courses in the world.
Building Businesses and Creating Opportunity
Win began his technology career with ISC, developing the technical and business experience that would eventually lead him into entrepreneurship and executive leadership.
He later became a key part of Venture Technologies, helping build and grow the company into a successful technology organization. His approach was straightforward: understand the customer, build the right solution, surround yourself with good people, and deliver on your commitments.
That philosophy helped Venture Technologies achieve significant growth and ultimately led to the sale of the company to ConvergeOne, an important milestone in Win’s business career.
Throughout his career, Win has believed that technology is ultimately about people—not just products. Building long-term relationships, earning trust, and being accountable for the results have remained central to the way he does business.
A Competitor at Heart
Long before business, Win learned the meaning of competition through wrestling.
Wrestling taught him that preparation cannot be faked. There is no team to hide behind when you step onto the mat. You have to be prepared, disciplined, mentally tough, and willing to accept responsibility for the result.
Those lessons became part of the foundation for everything that followed.
The same competitive mindset that drove his wrestling success eventually found another outlet—offshore powerboat racing.
Team Farnsworth — Racing at the Highest Level
With Team Farnsworth, Win took that competitive spirit to the offshore racing world and achieved championship success at the highest level.
Team Farnsworth has won:
🏆 2× SuperV World Championships
🏆 2× SuperV National Championships
🏆 Multiple offshore racing and shootout victories and championship-level finishes
Offshore racing demands far more than speed. It requires preparation, teamwork, technical knowledge, courage, concentration, and the ability to make critical decisions when the consequences are measured in seconds.
For Win, racing represents many of the same principles he learned growing up in Wyoming and competing in wrestling: prepare, commit, execute, and take responsibility.
The championship trophies are the visible results. The real achievement is everything required to earn them—the people, preparation, sacrifice, persistence, and trust that make championship performance possible.
Wyoming Values
At the center of Win’s story is Wyoming.
Growing up with Wyoming roots instilled a belief that character matters more than appearances and your word should mean something.
Authenticity means being the same person whether you’re sitting across a conference table, standing on a wrestling mat, or strapped into a race boat.
Courage means making the difficult decision when there isn’t an easy answer.
Strength means having the discipline to keep moving forward when things don’t go according to plan.
Character means doing the right thing when nobody is watching.
And accountability means owning the result—good or bad.
Those values have remained constant through decades of business, competition, and life.
More Than the Championships
Win’s story isn’t simply about companies built, a business sold, or championship trophies earned.
It’s about a consistent approach to life:
Build something worth building.
Compete with everything you’ve got.
Take care of your people.
Keep your word.
Own your decisions.
And never lose sight of who you are.
From Wyoming to the technology industry, from the wrestling mat to the offshore race course, Win Farnsworth has carried the same philosophy with him.

Kassidy keeps 954 moving. Operations, sales support, the details nobody notices until they’re missing—she owns that lane. She helps the sales team day to day and builds the processes that turn a good customer experience into a seamless one.
Outside of work, she protects the things that bring balance, growth, and connection. Yoga. Self-care. Personal growth. She’s always looking for the next way to learn and become a better version of herself.
Her favorite title is mom. She pours into her little girls—helping them learn, explore what they love, build confidence, and grow into kind, independent people. Family time isn’t leftover time. It’s the point. She cherishes the memories they make together.
She also loves a well-run home: organized, comfortable, welcoming. And when she needs to recharge, she heads for the mountains—exploring, taking in the view, or simply slowing down with the people who matter most.
Steady at work. Grounded at home. Growing on purpose..

Brandon Goodwin — Technology Sales Professional
Brandon grew up in small-town Wyoming, where Friday nights meant football and open weekends meant the Bighorn Mountains. Fishing. Backpacking. Dirt under the nails. If the weather was decent and nobody had a better plan, he was headed for the Mountains.
That same appetite for speed never left.

He’s a Corvette guy—unapologetically. Horsepower, handling, the sound of a machine built to go. One of the highlights of his car life was a driving and racing school, where he learned to manage technology and horsepower at the same time. Modern Corvettes pack a tremendous amount of both, and getting them to work together is half the fun.
That mindset shows up at work. Twenty-plus years in technology sales—downtown Denver one week, Wyoming, Montana, and the Dakotas the next. Networking from Layer 1 through the data center and out to the edge, wired and wireless. Unified Communications for meetings, voice, and collaboration. Power, backups, and disaster recovery so the business stays standing when luck runs out. Same rule as on the track: respect the power, know the systems, don’t waste the opportunity.
Home is the real scoreboard. Three kids and four grandkids, all in the same town—an uncommon blessing. He spends every hour he can with them: boating, camping, ATVs, and a shared love of cars.
When the workday runs long, the gym is the reset. No inbox. No noise. Just a place to get his mind and body right so he can show up strong for the people who matter most.
Small-town Wyoming. Bighorn weekends. Corvette speed. Family first.

Joining the team in August 2025, Dave quickly applies his deep expertise in key technology areas—including wired and wireless networks, voice collaboration and contact center solutions, and security—to help organizations thrive.
What truly motivates Dave is the process of creative problem-solving and the tangible, positive impact it has on his clients' operations. His ability to deliver has been proven throughout his career; most notably, he previously led a high-impact team of SLED pre-sales engineers and account managers whose combined efforts generated over 35% of their former company's annual revenue.
Away from the office, Dave enjoys staying active through a variety of outdoor pursuits like biking and hiking, as well as high-energy Peloton sessions (give him a high-five! He rides as "Friendly_Ninja").

Austin grew up in small-town Wyoming, where your word still matters and you finish what you start. Those ethics never left. Show up. Do the work. Take care of people.
He brings more than 10 years in technology support, delivery, and sales—and he still treats every deal like it has to be earned. He hits targets, then beats them, by knowing the client’s world and finding a smarter way through it. Support taught him how things break. Delivery taught him how to finish. Sales is where he puts both to work.
That same standard shows up after the contract. Austin is built for relationships, not one-and-done transactions—the kind of follow-through that keeps customers coming back.
Off the clock, life is full throttle. He’s an avid golfer, happiest on the water, and unapologetically obsessed with cars and trucks. If Cleetus McFarland dropped a new video, Austin has already watched it—probably twice. He also creates YouTube content of his own, chasing the fun of building something people actually want to watch.
Home is the headline. Two kids who are the light of his life, and the high school sweetheart who’s still the love of his life. That’s the win he measures everything against.
Wyoming-raised. Handshake ethics. Full-send personality.

Support taught him how things break. Delivery taught him how to finish. Sales is where he puts both to work—with precision, not buzzwords. That same standard shows up after the contract. Listen hard. Solve clean. Stay close.
Off the clock, he lives outdoors. Trucks. Off-road. A Polaris RZR tearing through Moab or throwing sand to the sky in the dunes. When the pace drops, it’s simple mountain camping—quiet country, a good fire, no hurry.
He’s also an avid hunter who keeps the freezer stocked every year. Archery when he wants the challenge. Rifle when he wants authority. Either way, he finds success and brings it home to feed his family.
Home is the real scoreboard: his amazing wife and their daughter.
Work hard. Ride hard. Hunt well. Get home.

Matt Hammer — Technology Sales Professional
Matt grew up in small-town Wyoming, then pointed west to Steamboat Springs and never looked back. He’s still that small-town guy—solid values, a handshake that means something, and always a great story waiting.
Twenty-five-plus years selling technology, and he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty when the job needs an implementer, not just a quote. He’s sold it, built it, and fixed it. That mix is why customers trust him: he can talk the deal and still crawl into the rack if that’s what it takes.
Then he gets to the part that actually matters. His lovely wife is the constant—the partner who makes the whole thing work. Their four kids are the reason he still hustles, still tells the stories, still finds his way home. Family isn’t the sidebar. It’s the whole point.
Everything else is outdoors. Hunting. Fly fishing. Kayaking. Whitewater. Skiing the Steamboat way, because that’s what you do when you live there. And if the conversation turns to engines, buckle up—Matt’s a total gearhead, especially if there’s a Ford involved.
Small-town roots. Mountain-town life. A family worth coming home to.
